The No Name Jazz Sextet is a young Montreal-based group led by saxophonist Alexandre Côté and drummer Ugo Di Vito. The style of the NNJS is influenced by the Hard Bop movement of the sixties, in particular by the music of Art Blakey, Hank Mobley and Cannonball Adderley. Here, they perform their own compositions on their first CD: original, energetic music that will keep your senses ever on the alert.
